We are pleased to announce that Japan Diabetes Society is now publishing Diabetology International in association with Springer Japan. Diabetology International welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, and health professionals throughout the world who are involved in the treatment and care of patients with diabetes.

About JDS
The Japan Diabetes Society was founded in April 1958 to advance the study of diabetes, with the ultimate aim of contributing to better human health. Soon after the Society’s foundation, the Japanese economy began expanding rapidly, leading to changing lifestyles and a growing number of diabetics. This prompted the Society to formally incorporate in 1985, to place it in a stronger position to sponsor academic conferences and fulfill its social objectives more effectively.
